Following practice on Tuesday, Florida sophomore RB Mark Herndon was so shocked by head coach Will Muschamp’s announcement that he and former walk-on senior DB Tim Clark had earned a scholarship - that he started sobbing.
quote:

“I was not expecting that,” Herndon — who played six games on special teams last season — told GatorZone.com’s Scott Carter. “It threw me so off I just started crying. I couldn’t contain it. He said I deserved it, and I’m just humbled because I feel like it could have been anyone else.”

Muschamp was a walk on at Georgia. Love to see stories like this instead of the thug stuff from the Meyer era.
