As all of us already know that Lane Kiffin was hired by Nick Saban to be the offensive coordinator at Alabama. Since then, we have heard the jokes, seen the photoshopping, and even enjoyed some Kiffin Karoke.

But if you are wondering how Lane feels about his new job, ask his Dad, Monte Kiffin.

Monte is at the Senior Bowl this week and had this to say. Per AL.com:
quote:

So how about it, Monte? How’s Lane settling in?

“He’s pretty fired up.”
quote:

“Lane has taken a few knocks here and there along the way,” his dad said. “I know him pretty well. A lot better than most people. I know down deep he’s a good person, contrary to what people might think. Coach Saban wouldn’t have hired him if he didn’t feel the same way.”
A lot of people are wondering how this whole Kiffin hiring is going to end up... what do you think?

We know the feeling - we fired up some mattresses when he schlepped out of town in the middle of the night like a cockroach
