According to, LSU quarterback Stephen Rivers is leaning towards transferring to Vanderbilt.

"I took a visit there and really enjoyed it," said Rivers, who is the brother of San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers and came to LSU in 2011 from Athens, Ala. "It's a good option for me because it's really close to home. It's not official and I'm still trying to get everything worked out. I'm still open. I'm going to see how things are going to work out."
Rivers will graduate from LSU in May and is currently working as an intern in the LSU sports information department. Once he transfers he will be eligible immediately and have two seasons to play.
