Former Alabama running back Ray Hudson plans to sue the NCAA for the way that concussions were treated during his college career. Hudson is 34 years old and now suffers from depression, anger, and memory loss which he ties back to his playing days at Alabama. Per AL.com...
quote:

He increasingly feels depressed and has been "locked up" in anger management residences several times. He forgets names of people he has known all his life. He has dizziness accompanied by brief headaches that feel like "a small explosion in my head."

Hudson attributes these problems to hits he took to his head while playing football at Alabama from 2001 to 2004. "I don't see where it would've come from anything else," he says. "I have anger issues and depression. I've never been on any kind of supplements or steroids. I've always been a happy-go-lucky guy my whole life."
Hudson was the SEC's second-leading rusher when he suffered a career-ending knee injury in 2004 during his senior season. He was signed by the New Orleans Saints as an un-drafted free agent but was cut three days into training camp.

I'm angry and depressed from watching those games. I wonder if it's possible to join the law suit and get a refund.

such bs....He knew the risks playing college football..now that the consequences have hit him hes suing...gimmie a freking break. u got a FREE education to play a GAME. They already paid you at least $20,000 and thats a low estimate. If this dude woulda not had the knee injury there would be on law suit. shut up and file for disability. Its not Alabamas fault. Its YOUR fault for AGREEING to play a violent game

Hey idiot it isn't a free education. If it were free they wouldn't have to play football, practice, workout in order to retain the rights for this education.
