The SEC is the most valuable conference in College Sports, according to Chris Smith with Forbes:

Last year the conference generated $476 million between payouts from football bowl games, the NCAA Tournament and TV deals with CBS and ESPN . That $34 million per member school was easily the most of any conference; the Big Ten had the second-most with some $28 million per member school.
