I will be in Rome this Saturday and Venice next Saturday. Any one know of places open late to watch the game?

I tried this on the Rant and all i got was insecure comments from the peanut gallery.

I streamed the OU/Notre Dame game from Rome (or Florence) in my hotel bed in 2012. That is probably what you'll have to do.

The wifi in the hotel (St. Regis) was kind of spotty, but it actually worked out alright. Plus, that was five years ago so you should have it even better now.

Highlander Pub in Rome. You're probably SoL in Venice.

The Scholars Lounge, an Irish pub in Rome has SEC sports regularly on; 22 diff screens so you can usually get what you want, esp if you ask nicely and have a few friends to order drinks. But beware--if it's a big soccer or rugby night, the place gets overrun and you won't get inside unless you're early. Food is bar junk, fries, burgers, etc. but the Guinness is properly poured and the staff speaks English. It's on via Plebiscito, just past Il Gesu church and near piazza Venezia. Website: LINK

Watched LSU-Arkansas a few years ago at Abbey Theatre Irish Pub. Via del Governo Vecchio, 51, between Piazza Navona and Campo de Fiore
