What kind of things do you enjoy? Being alone figure that out.

Definitely tons of things outside of the cities, honestly I prefer to spend about 1/2 my time in Europe in the country. You have castles, beautiful natural scenery, small towns, etc.

The best part about small towns is they are usually very affordable and you get to experience the life outside of the tourism business.

I would go to Normandy as a side trip from Paris. Beautiful area but also the history obviously.

get rick steves guidebooks. they will help you allocate time and describe highlights. all 3 of your choices are fantastic cities. what is your duration? need 3 full days in paris and london.

History and sport geek. I bought a museum pass for Paris that gets me access to most of them there and I got tickets to a PSG game. Thinking about going to Normandy, a friend showed me Mont. St. Michel and it looks be worth the trip.

4 days in Paris, 2 days in Amsterdam, and 3 days in London.

With 9 days I would pick just 2 cities. I would take the Chunnel train between Paris and London and save Amsterdam for another time.

Agreed. I filled a week in London and the surrounding area by itself.

This. Split the time between the two.....way too much in those 2 cities to skimp.

If you're willing to do a two hour train ride both ways, head down to Beaune in the heart of Burgundy or over to Strasbourg in Alsace. Each is amazing in different ways.

I'm just here to endorse your plan of doing 3 cities in 9 days

Can you fill 2 weeks in Paris alone? Sure. But see what you want to see. Plan ahead of time and your plans are completely doable.

While I think the usual "you're including too many stops" advice is usually well-intentioned, it just depends on how you travel.

Typically, I'd rather see 3 days worth of more cities, and use that as the basis for return visits.

Madurodam in The Hague. Minutes by train from Amsterdam. miniature city theme park. Quite amazing.
