In Homer Alaska. For those of you thinking about traveling to a naturally beautiful place, this is pretty average for up there...

Homers beautiful. It's definitely one of the top 5 scenic towns/cities in Ak. Seldovia and Halibut Cove across Katchemak Bay are nice stops if you go to Homer.

Been to Homer and Seward. Loved them both.

I remember going to some famous/old bar on the spit. That probably doesn't narrow it down but it was a good time.

Probably the Salty Dawg. Look like a lighthouse?

Yep that's it. I was about to mention I thought it looked like a light house. Couldn't quite remember since it's been several years, but that's it.

Beautiful country up there

Yep. Every town has an iconic bar you gotta see, so many have unfortunately turned into tourist attractions.

Ate a great king crab and halibut meal in Homer. Rare place.

Holy shite, I love that place. Was on a Backroads trip a few years ago, road bike out the Spit to Lands End where we stayed for a couple of days. Unbelievable scenery.

My Uncle has a house in Homer, and a cabin across the water in Peterson Bay. Here is a winter pic from the hill behind his cabin... I believe that mountain in the background is called "Chocolate Drop".
