Avery island/Tammany trace and Abita springs/biloxi or ship island/natchez/tunica hills/any of the state parks/ st. Francisville

Road trip to see sites unseen - So was thinking St Francisville but want to see more than Plantations. Also plan to go today and worried about places being closed. Would be nice to go someplace near water just to chill too! Maybe Bay St Louis or Natchez would serve this purpose.

Go hike tunica hills.
Go to old town Covington. Walk to shops, restaurants etc. Rent a bike and peddle the few miles to the Abita Brewery or brew pub.
Maybe explore parts of NOLA you've never been to.
