St. John Newfoundland for a romantic get away?

Anyone been up that way in August? I have business up there but considering flying the wife up as our anniversary is on the back end of my trip and extending through the weekend.

I've never been but I cannot imagine it is anything but fantastic.
Going on a bicycle trip next summer in PEI and working toward 2018 for a similar trip with the Newfies.

Never been. But no way does a coastal town not have some nice romantic options.

I spent a summer working in Halifax, but have never been to St. John's. Beautiful country. Eat lots of seafood - mussels and seafood chowder. The weather is very comfortable there in the summer, but you will probably need a hoodie or windbreaker at times.
