What is a good price on a ticket to Iceland from MSY in the late spring? Trying to determine at what point I should pull the trigger. Is there a website that shows historical prices on flights?

In a quick glance at this site, it says average fare was about $958 and that was in september of 2016. LINK
However, looking right now on google flights it looks like there's flights for $631 on Delta in March, April and May. To me, that doesn't sound like a bad price at all. Plus, there is more than likely going to be a schedule change between now and your actual flights so you can get rebooked to whatever times work better with the new schedule. LINK
