One night stay in Paris hotel recommendations

Making a trip to London in early march. Heading to Paris for 2 days 1 night. Looking for any recommendations on a good place to stay. Not looking to drop a grand for one night. Anything centrally located with a decent view would be appreciated.

If 1 night I would do Air BnB to get immersed more so than a hotel.

I like the Westin at Place Vendomme. It is right across the street from the Meurice and two blocks away from the Ritz, both of which cost a grand a night, but the Westin is a lot cheaper. Be careful with the Air B&B. Most short term rentals in Paris are now illegal.

We stayed at the Intercontinental Paris Le Grande. Very good location for tourists. Spectacular property.

Hotel Madison. Great location in St Germaine des pres, beautiful views of the church.

I've stayed at Mercure Paris Centre Eiffel Tower Hotel on business several times & have enjoyed it. Rooms are reasonably priced, very clean, on the small side (typical for Europe) and they have a great breakfast buffet. You're right next to the Eiffel Tower & the RER C train station. I don't recall the view though, but would assume they have rooms facing Eiffel Tower.

Spent 3 nights at the Novotel les Halles. It was very reasonable, short walking distance to both Notre Dame and the Louvre, short bus ride to the Eiffel tower and had a damn ice maker! No view.
