New Orleans - Bachelor Party Help

So a group of us are coming into NOLA today for the weekend for a bachelor party (not mine). It's me and a bunch of Florida fans - we were supposed to go to Florida for the game but obviously that changed so we called an audible and rearranged flights.
I'm from Louisiana and know New Orleans fairly well, but everyone is looking to me to guide them so I figured I'd get the opinion of others as well.
Frankly I'd love to avoid Bourbon as much as possible, although I'm sure that will have to happen at some point.
Open to suggestions.

I absolutely hate Bourbon Street with a burning passion but its a bachelor party. It is going to happen. You'll just have to lube up and learn to enjoy it.
What is the age range (and sophistication level) on this group?
You could easily steer them towards Frenchmen Street, obviously. Frenchmen will always be hopping, tons of live music and there will be plenty of booze and girls.
Magazine Street in the blocks between Louisiana and Washington has plenty of bars to chill in.
The Bayou Beer Garden/Bayou Wine Garden will always be jam packed full of people and especially women, ya'll will have a great time there and it will be a bit more chill than Bourbon. If its great weather it will be particularly packed.
Barrel Proof is a good bar if you guys want to just drink some Bourbon/Whiskey and hang out for a bit.

Thanks this is awesome thanks.
We are all about 30 and fairly low key, so hopefully bourbon will just be a quick fly-by. I feel the same way about it as you do.

The Warehouse District is also very popular, although skews younger and extremely douche. So if you are going with douchebags they will love it out there...Metro, The District, Red Eye, Ohm, Barcadia, Lucy's etc etc.
I would definitely consider doing Bayou Beer Garden/Bayou Wine Garden one day/night for pregame. You can sit outside, watch a bunch of games, talk to ladies, drink a pretty good selection of beer and/or wine, eat bar food, etc. After that ya'll can go out and douche it up.

Tchoup House/F&Ms for late night strange. Maybe Snake and Jakes for weirdnesss.
Id check Tipitinas or Maple Leaf Schedule for music
NOLA Brewery for BBQ and Beers during lunch one day.
If your crowd is into good beer I would recommend a stop at Courtyard Brewery as they have homebrews and guest taps for a great selection
Bulldog uptown is a good place for beers
Not sure where the best female concentration is as far as bars anymore as im out the game and married.

Tchoup House
Tchoup Yard. That is a good suggestion.
F&M's is way way too young for them if they are in their 30s. They will look creepy as frick.

Tchoup Yard is a nice option for a big group, I'd second that mention. Nice space outside and has TVs.
In that vicinity:
NOLA & Courtyard Brewery. Avenue Pub another beer option.
Barrell Proof has an excellent whiskey list.
Rusty Nail all around solid bar.
Harrah's to gamble. Penthouse Club is the best strip joint in the city, walkable from Casino.

Try and avoid the TPOS. Just know they're always lurking for a 211.
