I always do park and fly, long term at the airport is more expensive I believe.

Depends on who is paying. I do short term at airport pretty often honestly. I hate the damn shuttles.

I believe the credit card lot is the cheapest at $11/day. There are no taxes/fees added like with the other options. It's un-covered, but a quick and easy walk in past the rental Car area. This seems to be the fastest route for me also.

Flying Delta out of D concourse I've grown accustomed to the CC lot. Quicker in and and out than Park N Fly and only had a rain issue once. But I walked all the way through the Rental Car garage and hustled across to the lot.

I've also found airline to 310 to i10 west shaves a few minutes off my drive back to BR vs. navigating the access road, veterans, and Williams to get on 10west

I use US Park. They have discount coupons online.

Anyone have an example of what their added "taxes & fees" are like? I see a coupon for $5/day for first 5 days, but I'm wondering if it will actually be cheaper than the CC lot for a 9 day park.

I have this question as well. One of the recent reviews on Google says that by the time taxes and fees are added they are not that cheaper

It's the sales tax for Kenner plus some airport fee that MSY started making them pay to drive their buses onto airport property. If you do a dummy pre-pay reservation on Park N Fly it should break down the fees/taxes before you have to put in your CC info.

US Park--coupons online, great location, fast pick up/drop off and every employee I encountered was great. All lots have same taxes and fees at least that's what the lot attendant at US Park said

The credit card lot does not. When it says $11/day, that's what you pay. My last stay at Park n fly averaged out to $18.75/day for covered parking.

Yea, I started the reservation on park n fly and after taxes for 8 days, it's $100. Only $88 to park at the credit card lot.

Does the credit card lot fill up?

If it does, I've never seen it full. I am usually able to get a spot real close to the open gate by the sidewalk.

Only time MSY has parking issues are major summer holidays. Additional bonus if LSU football is playing somewhere like Green Bay or Seattle.

Thats the only way to get to the terminal from there isn't it? Through the rental care garage, then the rental car facility?

No. There's a sidewalk that goes straight from the CC lot to the terminal. It goes around the side of the rental car building. Very quick and easy

I dont like the walk from long term parking to the terminal so we'd have to see about that.

If it was JUST me, it might be different but with a wife and daughter I end up with the bulk of the luggage.

We only fly for leisure/travel about 5/6 times a year.

Drop them curbside, check bags. Park car in CC lot, then walk yourself to your terminal.

And the walk from the CC lot to D terminal is shorter than Long Term Lot to D...can't say much for C and B.
