Domestic: somewhere in California like San Francisco or Sacramento.

International: lots of options, Copenhagen was pretty expensive when I went in February, Zurich is also up there.

ETA: Reread title and saw hotel included, I'll stick with San Fran for domestic.

Is London really all that expensive for the average american anymore? I thought the GBP wasn't doing well against the dollar and that it's a lot easier to have an affordable vacation to the UK?

Had no idea seattle was expensive, flights usually run about $250-$300 from here which isn't bad IMO

I assume but haven't been:

tOKYO
Dubai
Moscow

Have been:

Copenhagen....had a local at a bar laugh at me when I pulled out the equivalent of $12 for a beer. Told me I needed more....so I asked if drinking at bars hurt their wallet like mine. He said they pre-drink at home then go out for 1 beer.

London

San Francisco,

I spent 2 weeks out there last summer and didn't find it outrageously expensive. Craft Beer at bars was about the same or maybe cheaper than Dallas. Food such as pizza or mexican was a bit more $ but not crazy. Of course I wasn't in the tourist areas.

Domestic: San Francisco...easily. shite that place has gotten obscenely expensive.

International: Oslo, Norway. Might as well give them my bank account.

Scandinavia is very expensive, but I would think somewhere like Monaco would be even more expensive. I've also heard singapore is expensive.

For US? San Francisco is expensive to live in but I usually manage to find halfway decent hotels for around 100 bucks when I go. I think Los Angeles is more expensive to visit.
