For the people who have been before, did you enjoy it? About how long does it take? And what other things in the area would you recommend?

Allow at least an hour, two to really get something out of it. I think you can buy tickets to both the Mob Museum AND the Neon Boneyard at the same time and get a discount. I really enjoyed it. And if you're staying on Fremont Street, its an easy two block walk. Favorite item in the gift shop: the baby jammies that said "I just did nine months on the inside.."

We rented a car at the airport on arrival and drove the desert before ever appearing in Vegas. Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, Red Rock Canyon. Takes a whole day. We rented a convertible and entered The Strip at Sundown with the top down. Wife loved it - it was her first time.

Crawl the Strip for a day. Do Fremont Street afternoon and evening for the Old Vegas vibe.

Container Park near Fremont Street is a great diversion.

I found it enjoyable. My favorite part was the actual blood stained wall from the Valentine's Day Massacre. The building is also the old post office where they held the trials exposing organized crime.

Was just there in February. Cool place. There's some really entertaining gifts in the gift shop.
