Lake Charles Casino's

Planning a trip to Lake Charles and planning on staying at one of the casino's. I've stayed at L'auberge and have enjoyed it but was wondering about the Golden Nugget. We plan on going out to eat and spending the day at the pool and playing golf. Is it worth the extra money to stay at the GN? What are the differences between the two?

Golden nugget is newer and nicer, not sure why lauberge would be more expensive

Agree. The nugget is always more whenever I go. Both are nice. I'd do the nugget if it's cheaper.
