Hi, I have a free solo day in Huntington Beach tomorrow. Any suggestions on what to do? I will beach it for a hour or so but does anyone have any suggestions for restaurants or bars? My family is going to Disneyland California adventure and I decided to explore Huntington Beach. I'll definitely walk the pier. TIA!

There are quite a few restaurants on Main St across from the pier. Food selection is pretty good and the food I had in that area when I was on a work trip years ago was pretty good as well. It's a tourist area so I don't know that you'll find good local cuisine but definitely a nice area.

IMO, Huntington Beach as a beach is ok but there are much prettier beaches in OC. Thousand Step Beach just down the PCH in Laguna Nigel is a classic cali beach up against the cliffs. Then I would go walk around the town of Laguna Beach or Newport Beach. Lots of little shops, art galleries, etc in both towns.
