I found a really good deal on flights to Oakland. What's the best way to get to San Fran from Oakland airport. I'm not really sure on where in San Fran that I'll be staying.

Bus to the BART, BART into the city. Easy

edit: Looks like they've actually made it even easier with a monorail that goes to the BART

This right here. BART recently built a spur that runs right to the OAK parking lot.

It's really easy now that the BART runs to the airport. Before you had to take a bus the colliseum stop which could be sketchy at times.

You can get some sea lions to pull you over. Just find a dinghy and some bait fish to hang over the bow, and use your rudder to steer. It's worked before

I took a cab from the airport to the my hotel in fishermans wharf. All I remember was we crossed the Bay Bridge. This was like 13 years ago when I was in middle school.

Did that last year. Southwest was about half price flying to OAK than SFO. Monorail to BART under the bay. Like this

As many have said there's a Bart line that goes from San Fran to Oakland Airport. Depending on where you're staying it might be reasonably close in pricing if you just Uber Pool/Lyft Line from the get go

Had a group of 4 so the price for 4 BART tickets was about the same as an Uber. Like a 20 minute ride and brought me straight to the hotel. Driver said we got really lucky with Bay Bridge traffic though.

BART from the airport to the Coliseum station then catch the Blue or Green line into the city. It's easier than it sounds.

Plus there's a direct MSY-OAK flight now on most days. If you want to fly to SFO you have to connect.

Unless you're flying in in the AM Bay Bridge traffic into SF really isn't that bad. Traffic probably wouldn't be that bad unless you're in staying Downtown/Mission area. But you should definitely BART there anyways
