How Long Does A Passport Take To Get?

I'm heading out of the country November 18th and wanted to know when can I expect my passport. I'm ordering it this week and was worried that it might not arrive in time

Not that long, it shouldn't be more than 6 weeks.

Standard is around 6 weeks but it usually shows up a little sooner. You can expedite it for a extra fee. I think its a extra $100 or close to that

I paid the extra $75 or whatever to have it expedited and received it in about 10 days.

Did mine at the post office and took about 6 weeks

Did the normal processing a few weeks ago and got it in 2 weeks.

I paid for expedited service and had mine within 2 days. The normal window is 6 weeks though, so you should be fine.

It depends on the time of year and how much traffic they are getting. Mine came back in two weeks but I think it typically takes about six

I recently got mine for the first time a couple months ago. I had it in less than 4 weeks and didn't expedite.

Got mine regular mail (not expedited) and it took exactly two weeks. I went to the passport office in NOLA downtown though and had no wait either at 8 when they opened.

You will be fine. We sent in my daughter's application on August 11th and received it last Friday. We had to go to the USPS to turn in the application.
