Where would you stay?
I'm interested in staying at Royal Sonesta RClub level?
Is RClub worth it?

I don't remember ever staying in the RClub, but I'd say both are pretty comparable as far as room quality. Perhaps whichever was closest to the events you want to do? You're splitting hairs at this caliber.

Decisions,
I appreciate it. I've never stayed at RS so I am leaning that way. I think Rclub has some addded benefits for food and drinks in the lounge on it's level.
Right now, I'm leaning to RS

Now that I am older I prefer to stay off Bourbon St so I would pick HM. Royal Sonesta can be loud if you are staying on the Bourbon St side.
Really can't go wrong with either choice.

How old are you? When I was in my early 20s, being right on Bourbon would have had some appeal to me.
Now, I'd much rather be at the Monteleone and be on Royal. It's only a block off Bourbon but it's a little quieter. And I do think the Monteleone is a nicer hotel, but they're both very nice.

Toss up. The hotels are of similar quality and are a stone's throw away from each other.
