Thinking of doing Hawaii for the first time wth wife and 11 yr old this Thanksgiving break. Pros and cons for that time of year? Weather issues? Higher cost for holiday? TIA

I went in late December this past year and I can't think of a con for that time of the yer. The weather was amazing, lower 80's as the high and upper 60's/lower 70's for the low.

The prices really jump mid December for Christmas. Thanksgiving week might be a little higher than just after, but it will be less than Christmas.

I've been to Hawaii in August, December, January, and February, and never had a bad weather trip.
