My wife passed away this summer. She and I have traveled around the world. My family is taking a trip to Cuba next summer visiting the three locations above in the thread title. I am reluctantly going, but have left myself enough time to cancel if my mood doesn't change about traveling without her.

Anyway, have any of you guys visited these three locations in Cuba?

TIA

Others will post about their Cuba experiences which have all been positive.

I just want to say that I am saddened to read about your loss.

Sorry for your loss, prayers offered for you and her.
As a cigar lover, this trip sounds amazing!

Spent a few days in Havana in June. It was incredible, I wish we'd had more time to explore the rest of the country. I'd imagine your wife would've wanted you to go and experience it.

Sorry for your loss. I encourage you to go, even if you really really don't want to. If you go you'll be glad you did eventually.

I'm very sorry to hear about your loss. The thought of losing my wife is my biggest fear. Sometimes I honestly believe that it isn't good to love one person so much. That said, I know my wife would want me to continue to live a full life even if she was gone. We're in our early/mid 30s and we've traveled quite a bit together... And we've seen some amazing places. But I know she would want me to continue seeing the world with other people that I love. I'd want the same for her.

I don't have any advice about Cuba, but you should go on that trip. Your wife would want you to. And she would want you to continue your travels, and to keep her in your heart when you do. God bless.

ETA- I go back and forth, wondering if I should delete my post. I say this because it's easy to offer advice like mine, while never having experienced the pain you're going through. I can't even imagine. Please know that I believe what I said, and my heart is in the right place. But I don't even know if I could follow my own advice. I don't know if you're a man of faith, and I'm not pushing anything on you, but you're in my prayers.

Grief pins us down.....take your time, plan the trip, and see where life leads you. take her with you in your heart.

Did the cruise to all 3 cities and I enjoyed each city. Would have loved to spend more time in Havana but seeing all 3 gave me a wider view of the country. Sorry for your loss. Like you I now travel alone since my wife has been gone for almost 9 years. Traveling with family makes it easier. Have a great time
