Going work in The Netherlands. Need info.

Considering going work there for a couple months early next year. I have a few questions. How will I communicate back home(FaceTime,SKYPE, by a phone there) what are my options. How easy is it to travel between countries, best way? Anything else I should know would be helpful

Any of those will work. iMessage and FT best for iphone to iphone. Whatsapp for everything else.

Extremely easy. No border control. Its like travelling between states. Train or drive is the best way. If you can travel light - lots of low budget airlines in Europe that'll bring you anywhere for dirt cheap fares.

You are going in the winter so weather is going to be terrible. Rainy, overcast and cold all the time. Thats the only downside. Everything else will be great. If you are into skiing then you could ski at the Matterhorn (Switzerland), Charmonix (France) etc.
