jealous, although I'd opt for winter down there so I could ski.

I have no input
But please do a trip report (including logistics) when you get back and have time. We looked at doing a combined Argentina/Chile/Patagonia trip for this year but found it more challenging than planning multi country/region trips in europe/elsewhere.
Hope it is awesome

This. I am jealous, as this has always been on my list.

Will do.
I can tell you flights to Santiago are much cheaper than continued into Puntas Arenas, which may be obvious, but you have to get there somehow.
We are bussing from major cities to others, and planning on renting a car temporarily while in Puntas Arenas to get around if needed.
Still in the works.

When are you going? I am planning on going in December and hiking the W before heading North - or at least that is the plan for the moment.

Niiiice
I was in San Pedro de atacama and uyuni last May. I want to go where you're headed but flying down there is some stiff fare
