Going to Lisbon in a few weeks (updated with pics in op and on pg 2)

Any suggestions on must see places, restaurants, etc. We will be there for 6 days. TIA

It's a lovely city to just walk around in. The Prado is worth a visit, but mostly I enjoyed hopping around little taverns and bars. Grab a little bit, have a drink and chat up the people. Some of the friendliest and engaging I've met in continental Europe.

I should say, 6 days is a ton of time in Lisbon, I would consider taking the train up to Porto for a night.

Check out the Time Out Market. It's a big food hall comprised of various vendors. Many of them do small plates, so you can order from several different places and enjoy a few dishes at once

Thanks for the feedback. Going for a destination wedding so we will have at least 3 days of shite to do with that. They might have a day excursion planned to Porto but I'm not sure. Should be a fun trip.

Second this recommendation. I loved Lisbon. Check out Trip Advisor for restaurant listings, they do a good job with Lisbon. Seafood is awesome in Lisbon!
IMO this is great city to wander in, very walkable.

We are looking to stay in Sintra because that's close to the wedding venue. Anybody have any experience in that area?

I've only day tripped there. It's beautiful. Several things to see there so hard to cram it all in a day. Sorry but no help to you as far as restaurants, etc. If you stay in Lisbon it's very easy to take the train into Sintra for the day.

Lisbon is a beautiful, walkable city with great people, food and wine. Check out Cervajaria Ramiro for local, fresh seafood. The line will be long, but it's a fun mix of locals and tourists. Also, don't miss A Ginjinha. Join the crowd gathered around drinking a cherry liquor similar to what River Parish folks call cherry bounce.
I'd stay at a hotel on or near Avenida da Liberdad...beautiful area of town. The street is a grand boulevard with bar and coffee kiosks in what we'd call the median. It's close enough to everything that you can walk, but sufficiently far away from the hoards of tourists.
As to Sintra, it's gorgeous on a pretty day. It's a sort of mysterious resort town, with lots of Knights Templar and Mason lore. Wealthy slave traders basically built grand vacation homes climbing the mountain. You'll see the native vegetation mixed with things like magnolia trees and Japanese plums that were imported from the southern US. It's unbelievable. Don't miss Quinta de Regaleira.
Though I'd stay in Lisbon and take the train out to Sintra, check out the Tivoli hotel. There's an amazing lookout point, and if you turn around and look up the mountain, rather than down, the arches perfectly frame the mountain and Pena Palace.

Pastei de nata is a famous little pastry they have. It's excellent.
I'd also recommend doing a free walking tour. The history of the city is pretty cool.
3 days is plenty of time there. You could then visit this famous forest north of Lisbon for a day (forgot name) and then do two days in Porto.

I didn't, and wouldn't...don't think you'd get your money's worth. Lisbon's more about enjoying the Portuguese food, wine, people and scenery, and less about museums and tourist attractions.

Was just in Lisbon and Sintra in June.
Lisbon go to Castelo sao Jorge, and you will be in the Alfama (which is the oldest part of Lisbon). Best views of the city are there. Also go down to Belem and check out Belem Tower and Jeronimos Monastery.
There is no Prado in Lisbon (that's Madrid). The Rossio is what you would want to check out.
Also Barrio Alto and the Chiado are funky little areas by the Rossio.
You can pretty much walk to everything (except Belem). Amazing town.
Love Sintra! Amazing history and a ton to see. The National Palace and Castle of the Moors are both very cool, but I really enjoyed Quinta de Regaleria.
You should try to get down to Cacais if you are staying near Sintra. Didn't hit the beaches there (went to the Algarve which is 2.5 drive south), but they look awesome.
Be aware that it will be very busy in August all around Portugal.
You really don't need to leave the Libson area though.
