What do I need to check out? Good places to eat, see, run, hike, etc.

Just in the city:
City Park has a great view of skyline and mountains. Go in the morning IMO. Also, contains the zoo and a few other spots.
If the rockies are in town, check out Coors Field. I think it's a really cool park for a game. LoDo has lots of bars/restaurants.
