Late-August trip for 4-5 days. Will be doing day hikes.

Thoughts?

My dad has done both and prefers Olympic. I've only done Glacier and was blown away

I love Glacier, but the Olympic Peninsula has everything, from high altitude mountain hikes, waterfalls, and what Glacier doesn't have, beach/ocean hikes/views

La Push Beach #2 is one of my favorite places on Earth

I camped at Kalaloch in September last year on a road trip and was pretty disappointed after figuring out I could have camped at Beach #2. Epic

North Cascades is sparsely visited compared to the others. It has incredible scenery though.

Never been, but has my interest. Would like to bring young kids and initially thinking of renting a small RV in Seattle for the trip. Is an RV a doable thing in Cascades NP?

Yep. There's several campgrounds around the park. I believe the area near Lake Diablo might be the best place.

We are camping on Diablo Lake this August. Plan to kayak and use SUPs on it. Will try to post pics of the turquoise-blue waters of the lake after we are back from the trip. Stunningly beautiful.
