The gf and I have a wedding in Ibiza the weekend of the 23rd then we planned on spending a few days in Barcelona. I've been before so I would like to train to Sitges one day to do the more secluded beaches.

The second part of our trip we want to do either french wine country or french riviera before closing out the trip in Paris for our flight home. Which would be nicer to visit in early fall?

I'm all up for the vineyards in Bordeaux but Nice and Monaco are pretty tempting.

Dijon was a pretty great town. Marseilles was beautiful. But you can't go wrong by going to Bordeaux.

I was unimpressed with Nice. Check out the Calanques near Cassis.

I was in Germany in late October for 3 weeks on a job and the Weather was terrible. It rained, sleeted, and snowed the entire time I was there. The temperature was freezing and never moved up or down while I was there. They told me its the worse time of the year in Germany.

Would highly recommend Provance for that time of the year . Very good wine, beautiful scenery, Roman ruins, beautiful little towns.
