Driving to Oregon from the Bay Area... road conditions?

I'm driving up into Oregon tomorrow from the Bay Area, taking I-5. I haven't heard of any road closures bc of weather but I want to have a heads up before I leave tomorrow.
Is anyone in the Redding/Shasta area that vouch for the conditions of I-5, or know of a website where I can find updated info? I've never driven in the snow so trying to prepare if necessary.
Any advice is appreciated!

I used the Waze app on the way up here - and thankfully didn't hit any snow or ice! I wasn't sure if Waze would update me on those conditions
I'm headed back south towards the Bay Area next week, so I'll be keeping an eye on it.
I also found you can check conditions here: LINK

FWD, rear wheel, AWD, or 4x4 drive?

I know Oregon DOT has cameras in such places. I would think CA DOT would have some as well.
The mountains definitely got dumped up on north of there as Meadows ski area just opened 3 lifts. No idea about that area.

Rear wheel. Honda Fit. I was mostly concerned about the pass through Mt Shasta around Redding.
Headed south Thursday, so far looks to be good traveling weather
ETA my fit is FWD, dunno why I said rwd

Wow...you are alive.
Yeah, you're screwed.

Wow...you are alive.
By the way, there are lots of RWD vehicles driving alongside me, so I don't feel like the only knucklehead
I'm in a little valley (probably not the right term), but I can see the mountains around me getting dumped on... mostly Mt Ashland, who hasn't gotten it too bad yet
