Has anyone been to Copper Mountain for skiing and snowboarding? If so, how did you like it? I will be staying in center village, Burning Stones. Any tips or advice? Thank you!

I've been to Copper five or six times.

It's a fun sized mountain. I think I remember tickets being slightly cheaper online the day before than buying them the day of.

I've always had a good time there. It's a beginner to intermediate level mountain. Nothing too brutal.

It's where my girlfriend and one of my roommates instruct and have for years. I like it as it has an easy going vibe similar to somewhere like A-Bay. What type of terrain do you ride? I'll let you in on where the goods are

I was there a few weeks ago when they were having huge amounts of snow dropped on them. Also went there about 10 years ago.

Nice little village, pretty easy mountain. As I don't ski very often, I don't know how common this is, but everything in the village pretty much shuts down by about 8pm.

I liked the place quite a bit though. Good beer on tap everywhere.

Going to Denver for an extended weekend at the end of Feb and plan on going to Copper Mtn to ski a couple times while there. Never been to Copper before, but did some research on this board and it seems very newb friendly. Any advice from y'all who've been then before would be appreciated.

Not sure what advice you are seeking but Copper is very beginner friendly. I'd say almost 30% of the mountain is green runs and it is naturally divided in terms of skill level. The entire west side (west village) is green runs. There are even a couple of green runs at the top of the mountain accessed from the rendezvous lift, above The American Flyer lift in center village, and the views up there are amazing!! There is plenty of terrain to keep you busy for a couple of days.

loved it. learned how to ski at copper when i was learning how to walk at the same time... figuratively speaking. but i've been back hundreds of times and love it. it's very family friendly and a great teaching mountain.

I've never been, but I bought a copper 4 pack this year, so I plan on heading there the 1st or 2nd week of March with a friend that lives in Denver.

McCoy's is in center village for groceries. Limited selection and high prices. There is a Safeway in Frisco and you could always have your grocery needs delivered.
