Condos to stay at in Destin

Parents want to take the family on a beach vacation in Destin before I start med school this fall.
Can anyone recommend a good place to stay this late in the game? We want to go June 18-25
If not a place, can anyone help me find a website I should be looking at besides vrbo?

Ha, was literally coming here to post Mediterranea. We've stayed there for several years. Can't beat the location, great pool, nice units, and Pompano Joe's Restaurant/Beach Bar right across the street.

Pelican Beach is nice. Not sure if you could get a room in the beachside tower on this short notice, but they have a second tower that sits a short distance away.

Would try airbnb. Some folks list same place on both vrbo and airbnb but not always. Prolly too late for anything that meets expectations - will have to pay too much or settle for a dump.

Legacy Vacations
I've used them to book rooms at Azure and Summer Place on Fort Walton in the past. Clean rooms, on the beach, umbrella and chairs available. Walk across the road to Old Bay Steamer, AJs; and near Howl at the Moon, and a Crab Shack. Just down the beach from a tiki hut to get drinks during the day. The best part is that you aren't IN Destin fighting the traffic, but can get there easily.

That's where my parents old condo was. The one that sits back from the beach is called the Terrace. The pool is much better at the Terrace. The one at Pelican is in the shade most of the morning. And it isn't a far walk down to the beach. At least you're on that side of 98 and not across the highway.

If you arent doing 30A just go to Portofino in Pensacola
secluded yet you can still meet people if you want, amazing pools( 8 total), on site restaurants and bars, access to gulf and bay( sound technically) with tons of activities. paddle board, kayaks, jetskis and more. Plus the rooms are amazing and offer great views.
forgot to add that they will bring you food and drink to your chairs on the beach and at the pool.
place is expensive but worth it as it keeps out the trash
