it was not worth the money, and the majority of fish/crustaceans are in small arse tanks.

And during the dolphin show, they talked the whole time about how they teach the animals, showed us stuff, etc.

Memo to aholes who run the aquarium, we didnt pay a nice chunk of change to hear you babble, get those damn dolphins jumpin and getting jiggy, and take my money. If i wanted to learn about the dolphins, i'd take oceanography class at the local college.

I have always enjoyed the architectural boat tour on the river...

I did the willis tower deck last summer for first time and enjoyed it...

Field Museum was off the chain

Cubs game- come up here early and have a pregame bevy at Old Crow or Sluggers. IF you want a Chicago style hot dog at the ballpark, you need to get it from the cart vendors- not the main concession vendors on the bottom level. Also- you don't put ketchup on a Chicago dog!

Girl and the Goat is great! My husband and I took my MIL last month when she came to visit, and she could not stop raving about it. Randolph Street has great bars and dining. If you want a night cap following GATG check out Nellcote or RM Champagne Bar.

Lou Malnatis is not that good. Don't get me wrong it's not terrible, but it's not mind blowing pizza. If you're really itching for some Chicago deep dish do Pequods or Giordanos.

Definitely do the Architecture Tour via the Chicago Architecture Foundation, their docents are the best. Get to the boat 30-40 min before so you can get in line and get a good seat on the top deck.

Overall FYI about museums- you're coming here at peak tourist season, so get to the museums when they open to avoid wasting your day standing in line. Speaking of lines, Sears Tower has great views but the lines are always miserable, so if you're gonna go prepare to wait. Alternate suggestion would be grabbing a cocktail at the 96th floor of the Hancock instead.

IF you're gonna visit Science and Industry, take an uber/cab- don't take CTA. It's not in the best part of town and you really shouldn't be wandering around that area.

Hey if you are a mafia freak go eat at Chicago pizza and oven grinders. It's an awesome unique restaurant. It also happens to be the same building where the valentine's day massacre took place.

I went a couple weeks ago. We did a gangster tour which was really cool. Willis tower is a must do. And visit the bean.

The field museum is probably the best natural history museum in the world. You could spend two days in there easily

If ur going to eat on Magnificent Mile, try Gibsons one night

They had 1 1/2 lb lobster tail, as part of surf and turf. Expensive, but worth it.

When we were there, Lou Pinella was in town to do game of week for Fox, he was buzzed and firing on some Milf in the Bar.

Giordano's, game at Wrigley, architecture tour, see the bean, take the wife down Magnificent Mile to shop, have a drink at Signature Lounge at the 96th (google this, awesome), Field Museum, walk the riverfront and Lincoln Park zoo...no navy pier or aquarium. Boom, done. GREAT trip and great city.
