Not really looking for a place like the Tavellodge, something more like Harrahs which is cheap but not terrible. Which place would you suggest strictly for cost?

TI is decent, and if you play to any the at all, comps are easy. Not the best choices in restaurants though, but located within walking distance to some very good restaurants.

Call TI directly, ask for a host, let them know your expected play, and see if you can't get an upfront comp. If not, you'll get casino rate.

Good choices. Don't forget to look slightly off strip. You have Lyft and Uber available to you.

My choice is the Linq. Newly remodeled rooms and it's center strip with a great vibe. I wouldn't come close to the place when it was the Imperial Palace though. Flying out Thursday and staying there 7 days.

IP is one step above travelodge but it's dead center of the strip and has a Hash House in it

The Linq is definitely not the IP anymore. The rooms are really nice now.

yeah, the IP got bought

It was the best hotel for price and location.

If the new hotel that took over IP is cheap, stay there.

Harrahs is a joke, and not worth the price.

and O'Sheas is downstairs which has table games, beer pong tables, bars, and a stage for bands to play all in one small room. Always have a good time in there.

I go to Vegas often but hardly this long.I'm getting married there this trip. We're taking a helicopter tour and seeing a couple shows during the trip too.

I stayed at Treasure Island and it was the cheapest hotel that was decent. It's connected to the mirage and across from the Venetian.

everyones definition of cheap is different. apparently people on here think the Mirage is. they must have some secret deal i dont know about

As others have said, Tropicana and Treasure are good bets. Paris can throw out some good deals too

Harrahs isnt bad
