Bachelor Party Ideas in Portland?
Posted by MSMHater on 4/13/16 at 1:40 pm00
I don't know anything about Portland other than "Cool city with lots of breweries and a great food scene."
Anyone familiar with the area have suggestions for a bachelor party? Looks to be 12-15 people. Money is not too much of an issue.
Where should we stay? Eat? Party? See partially clothed women?
ETA: And F*** YEA for a travel board!!!

We just got back from there for our 5th anniversary. Talk about beautiful. We didn't spend much time in town though. We did the beach in Pacific City and the 7-mile hike at Silver Falls State Park which takes you to 10 huge waterfalls. Well maintained too. We did have one dinner in the city at El Gaucho's. Good steaks but not cheap. They're known for their Pinots and Chardonnays out there.

Hey. This here's a bachelor party. This is why they are going to Portland.
Seriously, though, you guys can probably find a house (or two) using Air BnB. That might be your most economical bet. Otherwise, any 3 star hotel in the Pearl District would probably work out great. That way, you would probably never have to drive, as all you need would be either a walk, Uber, or train ride away.
Are you planning on leaving Portland to see the wilderness? Hood River, or one of the coastal towns is a good bet. Pacific City, mentioned by ell_13, looks like this:
That's the Pelican Brewpub in the picture. Very nice place.
My dining and beer drinking suggestions are on the Food and Drink page. All the good beer drinking establishments either have good food, or they allow you to bring food in from the outside.

Strip bars in Portland are full nude but way more laid back than strip bars in other cities. You'll see guys and girls hanging out and drinking like you would at normal bars. The dancers are almost just a side-attraction. My wife likes going to the strip bars in portland. And the girls are "suicide girl" types.....tattoos and generally natural tits.
