$98 round trip. Is there anything worth seeing in the area?

La Cumbre Brewery
When I was a kid we used to fly into Albuquerque rent a car and drive to Colorado for family vacation ski trips. Nothing but dessert, hills/mountains and indian reservations.

What airline and dates? I have to fly out there for a wedding.
Though I'm going the weekend of the Ballon Fest so I doubt there will be $98 flights.
Santa Fe doesn't look too far.

You could maybe look up Walter White or Saul Goodman.

Drive or take the train to Santa Fe. Santa Fe is a really cool city, very chill. I stay at the El Rey Inn. El Rey
If you want a fancy hotel, La Fonda La Fonda
Bull Ring for steaks; the Matador for dive bar (coincidence on names).
Lucheese store in Santa Fe is infinitely better than the one here in Austin.
When you fly out of AUS be sure to go to the new South Terminal, that's where all Allegiant flights operate from.

What would be your perfect day trip itinerary in Santa Fe?
We're staying at the Hyatt Tamaya north of ABQ so about 50 minutes south. We get in real early so theoretically we could get to SF by noon.

Sounds like a great idea for a quick weekend golf trip. I know there are some gems around Albuquerque.

We have rented a Casita in Santa Fe, leaving next week, for a month. Any other suggestions for things to do, see, etc.? Thanks.

Paa-Ko Ridge is a top 100 Public Access in USA and usually under $100. Mountain Course that is tough.
Twin Warriors is a true desert course that is also very well priced. Nice but not as good as Paa-ko.
There are more around. These courses would cost 3x the fee in Texas.

Drive to Sante Fe, get Airbnb, relax and hike

Great national parks and monuments nearby. Try the night sky program at Chaco culture NP. Well worth the trip.

I'm not the best person to ask. All I do is drink and eat when I travel.
There's supposedly good hiking and golf in the area if you're into that.

Hope you like green chilies. They'll put it on everything.
Sandia Mtns just north of town. Nice views and I believe there is a tram to the top.
Both are in the desert but Alb is completely different than Phoenix. I like Alb.
