15th Wedding Ann Trip Suggestions

SF is great...why opt for something else? (I'm biased, got married there.) Great food, scenery, people watching, lots of cool stuff to do nearby (Napa, or Monterey/Big Sur, etc). Weather is uniformly cool & on the damp side in SF, so there's no better/worse time of the year to go. Rent bikes, cycle across the Golden Gate, take the ferry back from Sausalito..its about a 20 mile ride, not too bad if you dress right. Do it early in the day on a Tues or Thurs and you'll end up at the Ferry Building while the farmer's market is in full swing.

Drive out to Muir Beach, have lunch at the Pelican Inn.
Drinks & a burger in the bar at the Cliff House at sunset.
Try as many regional pizza styles as you can fit into your belly at Tony's Pizza in North Beach...he's a world pizza championship multi winner: LINK

Why are you wavering on San Francisco? Have y'all been there a lot or recently?

Im not wavering on going, just trying to make a final decision. I am leaning that way.
Suggestions on where to stay-hotel or Air BNB and in what area of town?

Congrats. Our 15th is later this month, too.

Fly to San fran, drive to Napa or other wine courty town for a night or two then head north and hit Redwood National Forest for a night or two. A lot of driving, we did it a couple years back, but it's driving you enjoy.
