Would this modem/router all in one be good for an apartment?

Would the Arris Surfboard SBG6580 all in one work well in a 900 sf apartment? Is there something else that would be better?

All in ones suck. That pretty much applies to everything labeled all in one.

Surfboard sb6141 and Archer C# (insert 7-9) or Nighthawk

Agree with this. By having separate components you are able to select the best rated products in their respective categories and it is unlikely that both will fail simultaneously.

Make sure it works with your internet service provider. It probably will if it is cable.

As others have said, avoid the combo devices. Read my post in the network speed test thread. You don't want the tasks of a modem, switch, and wifi AP to share one CPU.
