I am looking for a laptop in the 1200-1800 dollar range that will serve as a work computer(office,excel....) and a gaming computer for when im out of town for work. I mostly play games like warthunder and world of tanks so there is not a huge demand for graphics but I don't want laggy online garbage. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Probably be a good idea to post the minimum specs for those games, but you can get a pretty fricking solid laptop for $1800. You can probably get away with much cheaper

I was looking at an XPS that met all the requirements and exceeded some. It is right at 1900.
But I think this is going to be it. It has most everything I could need in a laptop for many years to come and its nearly 300 cheaper than the xps.
BEST BUY ASUS

That ASUS is a beast. You can get by with a machine that meets all minimum specs for probably half of your $1,800 price tag though.
Is your company paying for this machine or is this coming out of your own pocket?

Yeah company gave me a budget and said to just give them a machine or specs and they would purchase it. Hell the lady even asked me if I wanted a 27" wrap around monitor. Not real sure what it is but she sounded like she wanted to buy it. So I said sure. If I don't like it I will swap with you. Haha.
