Who's familiar with The Machine?

Just saw a Hewlett Packard commercial throwing some pretty big hype at The Machine. Is anyone familiar with it?
The Machine
So I think I get the basic idea of it being a new way to store/process data, but it seems like HP is also making some pretty extreme promises about what that data will be able to do. Is this just marketing hype or are they going to be integrating some advanced class of machine learning algorithms with this? I know the jump to full AGI is a ways off, but is HP saying that they're headed that way?

I saw them in Birmingham a month or so ago...awesome show. all the old people made me feel young which was cool. A++ would definitely see them again, but prefer to have my brain a little higher before going to see them again. They're no pink floyd, but prettttty good at imitating them!

I have no idea what it is or what it's supposed to do, but I saw the commercial and couldn't help thinking it was pretty much exactly like this.
