dunno.. I have a pair of solo 2's.. wife bought them for me. They are certainly better than the free earbuds that came with my tablet.

I don't know, but apparently I'm the biggest a-hole dad ever because I refuse to buy a pair for my son. All that raising to keep him from being a brand whore, and he asks for the one thing I know to be a complete fraud.

I was given a pair for Xmas years ago. They do a nice job of blocking out background noise on flights when I travel. I wish I had the wireless ones though. I'm fairly confident you can get some very good ones for 1/3 the cost as well.

Nothing. They're a joke. I have a pair of Sennheisers that were 1/5 the cost and are great.

Take him to Best Buy and let him listen to them next to a pair of Sennheiser Momentums. Then buy him those. And when people at school make fun of his "inferior" headphones, have him realize that people are morons.

Yeah.. that's not why people are buying them..
Now, If I had to pay for decent pair myself.. I'd look probably at either Bose, Sennheiser or Audio Technica..
But until my current pair craps out or my dog chews them up.. I'll stick to what I got

I received a free pair when I bought a macbook air. They aren't bad but I wouldn't pay list price for them. Of course the kids want some for christmas so we found refurb ones on amazon for cheap.

I have some from a few years ago that were given to me. They suck. My $99 pair of Sony headphones have better bass.

That's where I'm at, my son wants some for Christmas and that's not gonna happen. I'm gonna find some camo headphones and he'll forget all about Beats by Gay...
