What is the best deal on digital phone/home phone service?

I looked into Vonage and it seems like a good deal with a lot of features for the price but reviewers say the call quality can be questionable. What say the Tech Board?

I have a little device called the Obihai 100 that let's you do voice over ip with Google Voice and other providers. It can be a little fickle, but it's usually pretty good. Just search Amazon.
