So my brother called earlier and found some switches for $22. This looks like a good price searching online. Has anyone used these and what all can I do with them? Thanks

Dumb question but is the wemo switch:
1) Compatible with the Wink Hub?
2) Just an on/off switch for a single outlet? As in, I do NOT need a dimmer for this 1 light I'd like to make smart.

My WeMo switch is for a single outlet and can turn on and off. It does connect to my ST hub; however, I will say that it does so terribly as it is always going out where I have to reset it. All other items connected to my ST hub work flawlessly, so independently I'd say it's good, but for integration I'd say don't get it.

CAD703X - any suggestions for a single switch, non-dimmer wireless one that works well with Wink?

do you already have a wink?

i posted a thread a couple days ago about someone who had some used $30 leviton dimmers and $25 regular switches on ebay who you could 'make an offer' with and get them even cheaper.

i bought 2 but he had like 20 more. they came in yesterday and look just fine.

those work just fine but aren't as fancy as the lutron.

imo, there are 3 i'd recommend:

- lutron looks and works the best (but most $)
- leviton is fine but has lots of green LEDs on it
- GE is ok if you dont mind the little blue LED at the bottom when the lights are out.

lutron doesn't use zwave and its proprietary signal has seemed to have held up better when i've had problems with other devices but take that with a grain of salt.

Also, he checked and they rang up $18 not $22.

The store is called Dirt Cheap, it's like a resale or salvage type store. I know he buys a lot of Xbox one stuff there. I think they sell a lot of target returned and overstock stuff.
