I noticed the SEC Network enabled mobile app updated to correspond with the Network's launch this afternoon but no update yet on either my Roku 3 or, my Amazon Fire TV. Just taking their time or something else? After reading the press release they sent out with the update it only mentions phones & tablets...hmmm.

I'm trying to load the sec digital network on my roku. The roku directs me to secondemand.com/roku. However, when I go to that page it redirects to the sec home page.

I received email from ESPN that the streaming devices (Roku, etc.) will receive the update to access the SEC Network on August 20th.

It was a joke referring to the movie Inception. Pretty funny too

In interest of accuracy, the email only mentions Roku & Apple by name - I'm hoping that they include all other brands as well, I see no reason why they shouldn't. I use a Roku 3 as well as a couple of AFTV's so I will be able to know Wednesday.

So far today, no update for my Roku or AFTV boxes but the day's not over. If anyone using Apple TV sees the new version please post a note & let the rest of us know.

Talked to ESPN by phone today & they said Apple TV gets updated today, Roku tomorrow & all others staged after that.

Apple TV does have SEC Network on the Watch ESPN app…but for me, fricking Time Warmer is currently not available on their system.

True, but depends on cable provider. Even though Apple TV offers the Disney Apps, you can not access it on the device through TWC. I am starting to think it is only provided through their on app (TWC) in the Apple App Store.

I don't know WTH is going on. I got an update for the WatchEspn app on my Roku today but same interface, no change & no SEC. Nothing yet on AFTV at all. Gotta' take ESPN's information with more than just a grain....

EDIT: OK, here it is fom Roku. The app was updated today (manually in my case) to support the SEC Network & other changes. That said, the update will not actually appear until Roku "plugs in" the new feeds on their end which is in the works.

And in the time it took to post the edit above, SEC Network is up & running on Roku. Hopefully AFTV is close behind.

I just looked at the provider list for WatchESPN. Damn. It went from like 12 to over 200. Still no Suddenlink.

ok, cool. I'll have to check Eatel when I get home. they didn't support the app before, but now that they are carrying the SEC Network, maybe they do, I hope
