updating car stereo firmware

Anyone know how to do this? I know I need a firmware update but don't have a clue where to start and Google and the owners manual has gotten me nowhere. It's a Kenwood DNX890HD.

I checked the manual for you and it says:

I know all that, I don't know where or how to connect the usb

I googled "DNX890HD usb"
First result: DNX890HD at Crutchfield
the information on that site says:

Who installed your stereo? You'll have to find out where they ran the USB cable. They may have run it to your glove box, under the dash by your steering column, or to you center console.
