Looking for an ultra thin wall mount for a 65" tv. Amazon has one for $93 but that goes directly against the tech board's maxim of never paying more than $20 for a mount. A little assistance please...

Do you need it to articulate at all?

$20? I think we paid around $100 for a solid mount that could support my body weight that articulates a couple feet off the wall if needed for a 60". I'm not risking a tv falling off the wall and possibly hurting my children or destroying the tv to save money on the mount. If my tv comes down, it's bringing the wall down with it.

no need to articulate, just to be close flat to the wall.

I bought this about 6 months ago and am pleased with it. Little over $20 and not ultra thin but solid.

Not nessasarly this one but they have a few different brands that mount the same way.

Altho if the specs are right on the one you posted that's pretty darn close to the wall.

I saw that one but it's listed for 60" max.

And yes, I did a double take when I saw 0.19" from the wall for the one I posted.

Mono price Ultra slim wall mount.

I have 3 of them. Work great. No more than 1" off the wall. Don't think it's quite 0.19", but it's slim. $15.

MonoPrice UltraSlim Mount for 37"+

The mount works well. Very secure.

The TV is a 59" Samsung Plasma (PN59D8000). So it's a little thicker than a lot of the LEDs out today.

Cheetahs are bulletproof for the smaller sizes. Not sure about the bigger ones, but I can recommend the brand for sure.

I work in tv business and most of my AV guys buy $12-20 mounts on mono price and charge whatever the hell they want.

They said they've never had an issue. Have 4 of them in my house mounted. Never an issue and spent about $70 for all 4 combined.
