I highly recommend the Vizio M series TVs. I bought a 60 inch and 70 inch a little over a year ago for $800 and $2000 respectively. CNET reviews and many others rated it just as good as more expensive options. I love them both so far.
The links above include 4K. I can't speak to that aspect, but Vizio is a reliable brand. Stay away from the E series if you want a higher end set.

2015 e series is one of the better 1080p sets out there from what i've read. again, probably the best deal in a tv if you want 1080p over 4k.

I'd go 65 and get a vizio 1080p or a 4k...both are excellent sets...jus one is more expensive than other...the 65in 1080p is a great bargain and whoever said the E series is not a good set is completely wrong...

No question that Verizon is the "mid" major and one of the best values - particularly as you size up.
However, the knock is the upscaling - the problem is that most content is 720p and 1080p and has to be upscaled to 4k resolutions. Samsung, Sony and LG do upscaling better at this point (at a price).

I have the M series 4k from vizio and I finally adjusted the settings to make it look awesome and watchable.
These new TVs out the box do not look right at all when you hook them up to a cable box. Especially the stupid motion blur feature makes everyone move like zombies or something. so glad this can be turned off. I believe this is known as the Soap Opera Effect.

I was just looking at these last night.. they are incredible if you have the wall for it. They dwarf the 60" TVs..
I was watching this guy's review of it and the comparison

That's like a mid range projector and only cost 550..
The 1080P version only cost like 650 if refurb I believe.

Where did you get your settings from? I feel like the settings I found to use are kind of dull

I just got a Vizio E series 65" (E65-C3) and its amazing for the price. I got it at Best Buy for $899.
Rtings review of it.
Keep in mind that they reviewed the 60", which does not have extra features like the 65" and 70" do.

Im not familiar with that model but I do have the epson 8350. some projectors are more forgiving with lighting, placement, and lag for video gaming. the epson is one of the better models in all 3 regards.

2015 e series
Is the 2014 M series. They essentially got rid of old E 1080, Made the 2014 M series 1080 the E series for 2015, and made the 2015 M exclusively 4k.
