I am having no luck putting music that I purchased from the Google Play store onto device storage/sd card on Samsung S4 Active. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Have you installed the Google drive app? Open Google drive and you'll see the upload button at the bottom left of your phone. When you select it you can choose what files you want to move to your phone.

In Google play music, set them to save to device. They'll save to /data/data/com.Google.android.music/files/music.
You'll need root and a root explorer to find them.

You will have to visit the web version on your computer. There you can download your purchased music in a zip. Once unzipped, add the music to your SD card then put it in your phone
