What's your budget? Do you want to track your HR?
If your budget is flexible and you wanna track your HR, get a Garmin Fenix 3. Best option out there and I've had it since it came out. I use it everyday (except my off days) at the gym between running, weight training and even swimming.

Would you put the Fenix 3 over the Charge 2?
For my needs/wants, yes. But if you're mainly trying to get the time, count steps and get a "relatively close" HR tracker, that's a good one.
Do some research on the HR monitor though. In my experience they can get wildly off. One time I had a Fitbit HR (1st gen) and I ran 2 miles and it said my HR was at like 109 or something. I'm in shape but I'm not a God. My HR had to have been closer to 160 or so.
