Been telling people this for a few years now..I've had Sprint for the last 12 years..I live in Gonzales now and don't have issues..sure some internet is slow in some areas but I haven't come across any dead areas..

Sprint is fine in bigger cities with good LTE. You can get some rural areas with some pretty terrible coverage.

I go from Avondale to Livonia and hit places like Donaldsonville, Addis, white castle, and Irwinville and don't have any problems..even when I was sent to Texas as an engineer last year..from Houston all the way down to Victoria/Bloomington I never had issues. The only problem I have issues is when I go back to visit family in Grant parish..around the South Grant area my service isn't good..but there are places like that with all carriers..my dad has AT&T and didn't get good reception out there..

I would consider Sprint but they have zero cover in our area and we are less than a half mile from an interstate highway.

Should look into project Fi. Both sprint and t mobile coverage.

Unless 1. You want the unlimited data from sprint. Or 2. Don't have or don't want a nexus phone.

Not sure about Baton Rouge, but it's awful in Nashville and has the smallest footprint out of all the national carriers. They also have the worst spectrum. T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon all have some 700mhz spectrum and all their phones have common LTE bands 2 and 4 and Sprint shares none with any of the other carriers. Meaning their phones have horrible resale value.

Their "spark lte" also prevents talking and surfing at the same time.

I wouldn't touch Sprint

Worked for Sprint until July of this year and always heard horror stories about the BR network. It may have improved since then, but would not jump to them just yet in my honest opinion.
